Owner Mon tells us: “I came from Thailand to Australia originally to study Graphic Design.

While at uni, I did some part time work in a Thai restaurant and saw it was a good business opportunity if run properly.

So about a year later, I finally decided to do it after consulting with my former boss. With the help of my wife and her sister, we opened our very own Thai restaurant at Five Ways in Eastwood called The Grain, selling authentic Thai street food.

So far I think we are doing alright.”
